We are approved by the Washington State Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF)
We practice positive guidance techniques and establish consistent, age appropriate limits to help children function in their world. Our program is designed to develop in children, a sense of independence, confidence and responsibility. I strive to create a unique and meaningful learning experience and provide a caring, nurturing environment that enhances each child's individuality and positive self image.
Our Schedule
During school months we include the preschool program, the preschool topic is then continued throughout play each day. In the summer we have more active and creative and fun time for the children. Our hours are Monday through Friday 7:00am to 5:30pm. Here is what a typical daily schedule looks like.
7:00am Arrivals and quiet activities
8:00-8:30am Breakfast and hand washing
8:30am Free play time
9:00am Preschool
9:15am Art, Science or Cooking lessons
10:00am Snack and hand washing
10:30am Outside games and free play time
11:30am Indoor free play time
12:00pm Lunch and hand washing
12:30pm Learning video or movie
1:00pm Rest and quiet time
2:30pm Wake up and free play time
3:15pm Snack and hand washing
4:00pm Outside and free play
5:15pm Free play and clean up
5:30pm Closing
